Moderate pace only with Goin' Skitz leading Navillus Hellfire. Competitive. PELE PRINCESS (2) always puts in and was only beaten 2L at Doomben last time. The extra metres won't bother and the 2kg claim is handy in an easier Maiden. NITROGEN (1) rates similarly off a nose defeat on the Gold Coast poly over this distance. Gets in well with the 3kg claim and will settle back and come hard. UNUSUAL MELODY (12) has been racing over a touch longer in better Maidens. The rail should advantage and she sits down in the weights. Keep onside. HELLUVA SOIREE (7) and BRAMBLE BAY (10) are both going well enough to consider. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Pele Princess.
