GOODLINE PORT HEDLAND LADIES DAY CUP 1600m Track: GOOD Rail: True. |

---|---|---|---|---|
A keen early contest with Kentucky Blue and Sabino leading from Sir Diamond. KENTUCKY BLUE (2) is a competitive gelding who has enjoyed the move to a country stable and capped off some strong form for his new trainer with a deserved win here nearly 3 weeks ago, scoring by over a length. He is up in weight but will find this no harder and can win again. JEDI MIND (4) ran his best race for some time when finishing third at Carnarvon 13 days ago. He might not have won for some time but this is one of the easiest assignments that he has faced in a while and a win would not be a big surprise. CHAVORIO (1) has improved as her fitness increased with her last couple of starts for third being full of merit. She has a handy gate and should be suited by the step up to a mile for the first time in her career. Stick with her. Can win. MERCURIUS (5) is proving very hard to catch but only needs to have his mind on the job to be a threat in this. He is worth the risk on an each-way basis at good odds. SUGGESTED PLAY: Kentucky Blue to win.
