Moderate pace from Loose On Gin taking it up with Might Just Happen and Melissa Kate on his back. LOOSE ON GIN (2) will be suited by a mile after producing a solid effort over 1741 metres at Geelong last start. He has winning form on the course and meets the right sort of field here. Hard to beat. CRYPTIC CLUE (5) ran on far too late at Seymour 12 days ago after starting from a wide draw and is expected to be ridden more positively here from a superior gate. He will also be peaking his fitness and can improve sharply. Each-way. MO'S STASH (3) has had a freshen-up since finishing midfield at Swan Hill just over 8 weeks ago. He is likely to be running on late over a mile and is capable of a top 3 finish. SUGAR AND SWEET (4) steps up to a mile and should be closing in on his full fitness third up. Regular hoop Jarrod Fry is back in the saddle and he won't be far away. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cryptic Clue each-way.
