Hot pace certain with Noble Magnate, Boy Big and Zoumist keen to take up the running. PHAROAH MAGIC (1) has made a strong start to his local career and will only continue to improve with more racing. He was a big winner here last time out over 1300 metres and should have no issue with having 100 metres less to travel this time. He won't find this much harder and is the one to beat again. ZOUMIST (6) ran her best race this prep last start when finishing runner-up and she normally holds her form. She is racing over her pet trip and with the aid of a good gate, she can go one better this time. BOY BIG (5) ended his Alice Springs campaign on a winning note there nearly 5 weeks ago and has a handy record on this circuit as well. He benefits from a 1.5-kilo claim and can make it 2 wins on the bounce. POMPEII EMPIRE (2) has continued his good form since joining the Kym Healy stable and was runner-up in a stronger lineup here a week ago. He should secure the run of the race from the pole position and can break through for his first local win here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pharoah Magic to win.
