WARPARTY (4) relished the drop in grade last start at Seymour, bolting in with his maiden by 5.5 lengths having run in the Taj Rossi Final here prior, well beaten as a $5.50 chance. This looks a relatively soft race Saturday race and he maps for every chance. DETROIT CITY (1) won well on debut at Wodonga, tracking the speed and coming away to win by four lengths. Didn't beat much there but looks promising and must be respected. SCOUNDREL (2) comes down from NSW and must be respected with Jamie Kah in the saddle. EJECT (3) is in the each-way mix. SUGGESTED PLAY: Warparty on top.
