A strong tempo assured with Canny Rock and Military Power leading the charge. TOROPA (3) continued his unbeaten streak with a 1.8L victory in a CL3 over this track and trip in midweek company. She looks a horse on the rise and she's trending as though she'll win better races than this. Well placed in this event and can extend her winning streak to four. CANNY ROCK (9) is hard to knock on recent form, running strongly in a similar event a fortnight ago when beaten 0.6L. He was a 16-1 chance there, but this may be slightly easier and the slight drop in trip is no issue. Can find the front and take plenty of catching. MOCHA DREAM (4) wasn't far away here two back before a disappointing effort at Northam when a long way back in running. CJP hops back in the saddle now and while he is likely to get well back, the outside may be the place to be with a wet track expected. Watch for him late. BORDER FORCE (6) can build on a solid first-up run at Northam. HIBISCUS LADY (8) is better than she showed last time out and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Toropa can make it four on the bounce.
