Just a steady tempo anticipated. GODRA (9) worked to the line solidly at Ipswich when 7th in 1680m Class 2 first-up and should be improved again for this. Is a winner over 2000m here last prep in Bm58 grade and gets the 2kg claim for Dan McGillivray from a soft draw. Genuine each-way chance. FIREBOLT (3) is unbeaten in two starts at this track including a strong last-start victory over this distance on July 20. The 3kg claim will help offset the rise to 61kg and she looms as a strong chance again. HELL FOLLOWS (6) was unplaced here last start over 1540m but should be fitter again for the rise in distance third-up and can improve. Top-four chance. NO MORE RED (1) has two wins and four placings from 10 starts at this track and gets the 3kg claim for Corey Sutherland. Can figure in the finish. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Godra to win.
