Fast pace assured with Tactical Illusion, Bean Warrior and Cuban Affair leading the charge. RUSSIAN MINT (3) made good progress at the end of her last prep and went for a spell after finishing fifth at Warwick before having a spell. He might need the run but is resuming at an easier level and can't be ruled out of winning here. On top. CUBAN AFFAIR (1) was racing well before finishing last in a 4-horse field at a Mount Isa picnic meeting nearly 9 weeks ago on a track that was reported to be too holding. A freshen-up would have done him no harm and he can bounce back into form quickly. SHERE KHAN (9) did not fire in his post-maiden start at Cairns before his spell last year and would have matured since then. He has a handy gate and any positive market moves would be worth following. HE'S ALL POWER (6) is still a touch green and was run down late after setting the pace fresh up at Oak Park 4 weeks ago, finishing second. He strips fitter and could see it through this time.
