Big field with a lot of pace engaged so expecting plenty of early pressure. SPIRIT'S UNITE (9) has been in good form and was a solid runner-up here last time out. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be hitting the line strongly. He is ready to go one better. GOLD INDEX (11) won a good race in his last start here over this distance. He stays in the same class and can follow up with another victory. LIKETHECLAPPERS (3) is better than his last start when having to overcome a wide draw. He has cracked a good draw of three and if finding the form of his penultimate run, he should be involved at the finish. FLY TO RIO (13) has looked a lot better in her last couple of starts. She gets back in the running but has won 4 times over this trip on the track and could be one to cause an upset.
