Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Without Revenge. Veteran LORD ARDMORE (1) backs up seven days after working home well to finish third over 2020m at this track. Coming back in trip is a query but most of today's key rivals aren't racing well so he looks a big chance to break a two-year drought. SEA RAIDER (3) had the drop on the leaders but couldn't quicken as hoped over the mile at Eagle Farm a fortnight ago. Very fit gelding who should enjoy a cosy run again and at the weights is a major player. ARTS OBJECT (9) ran a better race last start, beaten under two lengths in a strong mares race at the Grafton carnival. Has trialled well since so must be respected on the limit weight. WITHOUT REVENGE (2) led and was only pegged back close to the line over this distance at Eagle Farm recently. Going better than most so he is a major contender. GOLDEEL (10) mixes her form but she is a specialist at this trip. Keep her very safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Ardmore each-way.
