Lots of speed predominantly from Intervarsity, Cool Storm and Extra Flash. INTERVARSITY (11) nice mare undefeated in two runs resuming from a lengthy break. Got off the mark in devastating fashion on debut over this trip at Muswellbrook on November 7 and repeated the dose again over 1280m at Muswellbrook on November 24. Since fitted with a recent 1000m trial win at Scone and J Mac rides from the good gate. Plenty of appeal. LONHRO'S QUEEN (12) mare in form chasing her third straight victory. Beat a similar field over the 1100m here on July 20 and will race closer today from the inside gate. Brings the right numbers to win again. SYRIAN STAR (8) ran well first up when second to Nipotino, then drifted back and failed to get into the contest when tenth over 1200m at Randwick on July 6. Kept fresh and gets the right tempo. Look for her late. CONSENZA (5) holding her form well and has her hoof on the till. Got out late with the 59.5kg when a narrow second over 1100m here on July 20. Has the one win over this trip and no excuses today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Box Quinella 11,12,8,5.
