Pace a scorcher, headed by Go Barney Go and Palentino Rossi, closely followed by Sheezel and Miss Polly. VALKUR (11) has been steadily improving since racing on this track and his last couple of starts have been solid enough off some wide draws. She gets a better gate this time and gets the top local hoop, Jarrod Todd in the irons this time. Hard to beat. HELL FIRE MISS (8) ran her best race at the start of her last prep at Moe and has changed stables after finishing sixth at Ballarat in March. She has had some gear changes and will be ready to run a big race fresh up. A market watch is advised. MISS POLLY (10) ran on strongly to finish second on debut and then raced on the pace last time out as favourite before running third after weakening late that day. She will be spot-on third up and is expected to be ridden more patiently this time. Stick with her. Can win. ENUFF RED (1) is usually thereabouts and would have improved a lot with her resuming run here a week ago under her belt. A wide gate is no help but she is worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Valkur to win.
