Pace genuine with Lagrimas Maria booting up on the fence to hold the lead. SANATION (18) stepped out on his debut over 1400m at Kyoto seven weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths after coming from well back on straightening. Better for the run and can improve sharply. RED EVANS (7) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1200m at Kokura. Has been about the mark for a while and is ready to go one better. ROUGE REINAS (12) made progress last time out, finishing 2.5 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1200m at Kokura after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. BRIGHT LUPINUS (14) made progress last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in third over 1000m at Kokura Dirt. Solid prospects.
