Solid tempo with Universal Flair leading from Sonoftheboss and Born To Talk. SONOFTHEBOSS (1) got the job done on resumption, proving too good to win by 0.9L. He doesn't boast a strong second-up record, though the form out of his fresh effort has stacked up well and he ran to a new peak on that occasion. Derrick's claim comes in handy and he'll take beating again. SENTIMENTAL BELLE (8) made it two in a row with a 1.2L win over this course and distance last week, storming over the top. The inside draw may be a niggle with her racing pattern, but she's going through the grades nicely and she's sure to be closing off strongly once again. SILVER EYE (11) now goes into Saturday company after bumping into what looks a smart one at the midweeks his past couple. He drops right down in weight and still has plenty of upside. Showing good signs and can get back to winning ways. ANGEL UNDERCOVER (7) disappointed first-up but is much better than she showed there. Can bounce back. Ditto SUPPORTIVE (6) who can run a better race today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sonoftheboss.
