Pace will be genuine with The Big Shamrock and Midtown Boss locking horns in advance of Little Miss Kubi. MIDTOWN BOSS (3) resumes. He had a very good campaign last time in, winning dominantly over this track and trip as a well-backed, even-money favourite first up over Mornington Glory which reads well. He's jumped out well and loves the straight. Should go close. VELOCE CARRO (1) was just fair in the Santa Ana Lane Sprint Final last start but had been in good form prior and the drop back to 1100m suits him much better. PROWLING (5) resumes. He doesn't win out of turn but certainly has the class to take this out and should be charging at them late. MAOTAI (2) resumes for the new yard. He's jumped out well and has ability on his day.
