MOZU YUIYUI (3) recorded a third straight minor placing last time out, finishing 0.8 lengths away in second over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. KENJO (8) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, beaten 8 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Fitter this time. Hard to beat in this suitable race. CRITICAL HIT (15) finished 6 lengths from the winner in sixth last start after being in contention on the bend over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt, an improvement on his ninth at the same track the run before. Can do better. SONGWRITER (13) has not raced since being well supported on his debut on October 28 over 1400m at Kyoto Dirt when he finished ninth, beaten 14 lengths. Open to improvement and can feature.
