LA PULGA (3) made the expected natural improvement when second last start over 1200m. He showed good speed that day before getting run down late. He is a progressive type and in this field, he should go one better. TERMINATOR (9) ran a good race when second here over this trip last time. He is having his peak run today and will be cherry-ripe. Hard to beat. MIND MAP (4) ran a fair race over 1250m at Durbanville last start. He tries the 1400m and if he sees out the extra distance on offer, he can have a say in the finish. COSMIC RHYTHM (10) is better than his last start over 1100m. If finding the form of his penultimate run, he should be thereabouts. Each way.
