Plenty of pace from Mintaka Lad and Atmosphere matching motors. Honest gelding ATMOSPHERE (1) led all the way and won first-up at Ipswich on Cup Day then tried to emulate that feat over 1350m here last start but found a couple better late in the piece. Will be hard to catch coming back to six furlongs. DAYTONA (2) disappointed when ridden a little more aggressively in a Class 3 over this trip at Eagle Farm recently. Takes a sit behind a hot tempo here and can improve sharply. TRES REDOUTE (16) turned in a much better run over today's journey at Eagle Farm last start. Doesn't win out of turn but certainly one for the exotics. THE INFLICTOR (9) collected a well-deserved win here last Saturday. Yet to miss the frame in five runs at 1200m so he must be included. SUGGESTED PLAY: Atmosphere on top in a competitive race.
