Chimed is the likely leader and should be able to get there comfortably. CHIMED (2) is knocking on the door for his first win and found the line strongly again when finishing third at Warrnambool 11 days ago. He is rock-hard fit and the extra furlong on offer in this sort of field makes him the one to beat. LEMBEH (9) finished fifth in the same field as the top pick and is likely to put herself into the race early on. She is a touch one-paced at this stage of her career but doesn't have to be a start to win this. JAYVEEKAY (8) will be peaking third up and she was doing her best work late over a mile at Seymour just over a month ago. A wet track is no problem and she is ready to put her best hoof forward here. CARASHAN CHLOE (7) was placed a couple of times over some longer journeys before finishing fifth in a 6-horse field on the Ballarat poly track nearly 3 weeks ago. She keeps plugging away and is worth including in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Chimed to win.
