Solid tempo likely from the outset with a number of speedy beginners engaged, most notably Bijou Noir and Logi Silver. TROVATORE (10) turned things around last start and scored by 2 lengths after being prominent at the corner as favourite over 1600m at Tokyo. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is up to the challenge. TOSEN RYO (6) is back from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Raced once last campaign and finished second over 2000m at Tokyo. Looks a winning chance while fresh. KEIAI SENA (12) missed the placings last time out over this distance at Kokura, beaten 3 lengths. Has a very good record here including two wins from four starts. Shapes as one to consider. LOGI SILVER (9) built on a nice second two starts back at Tokyo with success over 1800m at the same track six weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Finds a suitable race and can make it back-to-back successes.
