GOING: S(7)

MORLEY GROWERS MARKET HANDICAP 1000m

Track: SOFT 7   Clouds (Max: 12)   Rail: Out 6m Entire. (Pent: 5.8).

In the small field Bayezid or Golden Fighter should find the front. BAYEZID (1) was no match in the Beaufine two back before a better effort in tougher company a fortnight ago. He's drawn much better this time in an easier event and Derrick's claim comes in handy. Can be prominent in the run and take plenty of running down from the front. UNDER INFLUENCE (5) rattled home last start to miss out by 2.5L over this track and trip. Chris Parnham has been successful when riding previously and hops back in the saddle. Better than he showed last time out and a return to his best would see him go close to winning. THINK OF GOD (6) disappointed over 1200m at Ascot to end last campaign and was put away following that effort. No trial coming in, but the booking of Pike suggests she's travelling well. Blinkers go on first-up and a bold effort is anticipated. BONNIE LAD (2) got the job done in easier company last start but was in the market in a similar event two back. Can put his best foot forward. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bayezid can get back to winning ways.
