Good speed drawn across the track. ROWEINER'S DANCE (2) had to work a touch too hard from a wide draw last time out and weakened to finish fourth. He is always a query at 1200 metres but has a draw to suit this time and won't mind the 6-day quick backup. All of his 10 career wins have come on this track and with a drop back in class, he can take them all of the way here. Stick with him. DOUBTING EYE (16) is a progressive gelding who is nearing his peak fitness after a couple of solid efforts for third to open his current campaign. The extra furlong will suit him and more importantly Justin P Stanley picks up the ride. Hard to beat in another strong field. BRINGYATICKET (17) was a beaten favourite at Cairns last start but was only just over a length from the winner. Each-way claims again. BRINGYATICKET (17) ran a better race last start to finish second at Mackay over 1300m. Nicely placed and rates highly off that run. Can do one better. SUGGESTED PLAY: Roweiner's Dance to win.
