Mr Frostie, Rougarouin and Beneath The Moon to match motors but there will be plenty of pressure from other quarters. TRES CHIC (9) showed some signs of returning to form last start when finishing fourth. Luyolo Mxothwa is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most. ROYAL LYTHAM (7) was a game winner in her last start here over this trip. She remains in the same class and is in a good space. With top hoop Grant van Niekerk retaining the ride, she merits healthy respect. GRUE OF ICE (15) finished third and not far behind the second pick last start. She meets that runner slightly better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. GRAVITY (6) tired late when third over 1100m on this course last time out. He has dropped to a competitive rating and may be hard to peg back.
