Came from near last on resumption with a swooping victory over 1400m at Tamworth on June 21. Undefeated here and will relish the 3kg claim. Can win again in this tougher contest. SHEN GUI (10) up in trip and grade when a disappointing 13th over 1450m at Muswellbrook on June 17. Trained on the track and go on his win two back when assessing his chances. Can return to form today. UP AND COMER (13) Neasham-trained filly returning from a five-and-a-half spell. Made good progress last time in on the provincial circuit and not asked to do much in two recent trials. Looks ready for a good prep and a forward showing is anticipated. BIG BAY WOLF (9) showed ability last prep and expecting improvement after his poor return when last of 10 over 1300m at Goulburn on June 21.
