Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Tsiskaridze. EFFLORESCENCE (4) broke through for her maiden win over 1500m at this track last time, scoring comfortably. Winning rider Makoto Okabe sticks and she looks certain to measure up again. ASTER DECAGON (6) finished third here two runs back but was less effective last time over 1500m at this track, finishing back in sixth. Nicely placed to bounce back. POLAR THUNDER (2) placed two back then ran below his best last time when seventh here over 1500m. Good enough to make amends. STEINER (8) finished eighth last start over 1500m at this track when he had to contend with an awkward barrier. Draws out again but capable of a bold run.
