Plenty of early pace with Broadway Lane and Stake A Claim battling for the lead but there will be pressure from a few other on-pacers. STAKE A CLAIM (7) is yet to strike through this campaign but has turned in some strong performances. Wasn't beaten far here last start in a similar grade. Cherry-ripe now in a similar assignment and holds plenty of appeal. BROADWAY LANE (3) finished alongside Stake A Claim here last start, just holding him out for fifth. Drawn to advantage and is expected to be in this for a very long way. MELMAC (4) was far from his best here last start when beaten a stretch. Was ticking along much better prior and is worth another chance on best figures. NASDANA (11) best of the rest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Stake A Claim.
