They should really hum along here over the 1200m journey. ELLORIX (1) should have finished closer over this distance on the polytrack last time as she was awkwardly placed with 200m to run. Richard Fourie is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her when it matters most. RAIN BIRD (3) ran a good race when second of nine over 1300m on the polytrack last time. The drop to 1200m should not pose a problem and she should go a bold race. GREEN FAME (2) is having her first run for the Kelly Mitchley stable. Having her second run this prep and in a fitter state can place. STRING OF LIGHTS (4) was disappointing over 1100m last time out when well supported. She has finished second twice and third once from four starts over this course and distance. If putting her best foot forward she should be finishing in the money.
