Rhein Alpha to take charge ahead of Fire Star at a strong tempo. FIRE STAR (10) resumes after a break of five months. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 1400m at this track. Could prove tough to beat. GINZA TARGET (6) gave away a big start at the top of the straight last start and finished seventh over 900m at Kawasaki. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. LOVE AND HAPPINESS (4) is fresh from a spell of 11 weeks and did hit the frame when last resuming at Mizusawa over 1400m. In a different yard now and worth plenty of thought on an each-way basis. GOLD RUSH (11) raced on the speed and dug deep to score by a neck at today's track and distance last start in a nice progression on the first-up performance. Must raise the bar but another big run is on the cards.
