Despite the wide draw Miss Cotoletta should cross and set a genuine tempo. Tricky. BENRIACH (2) was plain at Ballarat on the heavy but there was a lot to like about the near miss at Seymour prior. Fitter again and is worth another chance. JEROBI (5) has disappointed since the first-up Maiden win. Didn't enjoy the synthetic last time and also arrives fourth up. Has the early speed to clear the wide gate and Rawiller is a positive jockey switch. A better effort is likely. Ditto with MISS COTOLETTA (13) who raced on speed at Sale on debut overrun in the latter stages. She started $6 and is sure to have come on. Speedy and is likely to skip across to the pointy end. FOUJITA (3) resumes and the former Japanese galloper has switched from a top Sydney yard. He has been off the scene for an age but creates interest. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Benriach.
