Tricky one to map with a large contingent of first starters but over this trip there is certain to be plenty of early pressure. QUEEN OF JAZZ (7) has finished second twice from three starts over this course and distance. She has placed in all of her last five starts, including last time out over 1200m. Should go close to recording a well deserved victory. FIRST WISH (3) has been in the market at her last couple of starts since resuming from a spell but hasn't made an impression, last start running ninth at this track. Should be further improved and in a fitter state is worth considering. GLOBAL SCENE (4) ran a fair race over 1400m last time out when finishing fourth. Chase Maujean retains the ride and she is capable of finishing in the money. JUST FOR U (5) is an unraced daughter of Global View from the Kelly Mitchley stable with S'manga Khumalo in the saddle. If not in need of this outing, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.
