A solid tempo on the cards with Mieno Thunder leading the way. MIENO THUNDER (6) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten in three runs this time in, the latest at this track over 1600m. Comfortable winner last time and can measure up again. WIN RESERVE (8) missed the placings two runs back then was never in contention last start when 15 lengths away in seventh over 1600m at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. MARUKAN BLOND (5) was out of the money when resuming from a spell last start over 2000m at Urawa, beaten 18 lengths. Second up record is very strong. This looks a sterner test than last time but with added fitness he is good enough to take this out. COSMO FARNESE (3) is back after a break of five months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 1800m at this track. Definite top-three chance.
