A keen early battle to ensue between Ultimate Saga, Ecoro Ace and Plausus from Eternal Pride. MISTRAL WIND (1) hit the line nicely last time to grab third over today's journey at this track. Will drift back but is expected to be in the finish again. DOUBLE DOUBLE (3) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2 lengths win over 1400m at Kasamatsu last time. Katsuto Maruno who has two wins when partnering stays on and look for another big run. ULTIMATE SAGA (7) scored over 1500m at this track two back then found a couple better last time out over 1500m at this track. In the mix on best form. WIN FEDE (12) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back that up when unplaced over 1700m at this track last time. Great chance to atone.
