PRINCESS MONTECITO (12) was good in a handy maiden on debut at Geelong before finding one better as an odds-on favourite at Pakenham Synthetic. Maps nicely here and can repay backers. JUVIANCE (10) resumes. She was good on debut at Pakenham before tackling the G2 Blue Diamond Prelude when outclassed by subsequent G1 winner Hayasugi. Better placed here.
