AOI REGINA (12) did very well to fill a minor placing when resuming at Kyoto then did a reasonable job last time over 1200m at this track, finishing sixth and beaten only 1.75 lengths. Steps up a level but she is good enough to take this out. WORTH (1) finished a 6 length ninth when resuming last start over 1400m at Chukyo. Generally goes well with that run under the belt so don't mark him down on that performance. Leading chance on best form. MEISHO YOZORA (8) comes here off a break of 12 weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1600m at Niigata. Comes here with definite top-three claims. COUNTER SEVEN (4) was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth in a 1200m contest at Kokura seven weeks ago. Likely improver who can win without surprising.
