Pace strong with Satirically and Grand Omaha leading with Miss Revealing nearby. SATIRICALLY (2) looks clearly the one to beat. He's a progressive colt who looked good winning dominantly out to this trip at Sandown Lakeside last start, leading throughout from a wide gate and running good overall time. Drawn very wide again here is the niggle but he does look quickest early and with a long run to the first turn he can find the top and prove very hard to run down. GRAND OMAHA (12) is coming off a smart win at Caulfield when sitting on speed and coming clear. She's another with early pace that can look to make the favourite work. MIEWA (1) did enough first up at Flemington over 1400m. His form getting over further in the Spring reads well, if the gaps come from barrier one he'll be strong late. PAVLICH (7) won dominantly in a 0-62 at Bendigo last start, have to respect albeit this is a fair bit harder. BERLEMONT (4) did beat Miewa home at Flemington and should relish getting to 1600m now with further upside to come. SUGGESTED PLAY: Satirically to win.
