Tempo strong with Lord Vulcan, Nihonpiro Carat and Kanekome Family pushing forward. LORD VULCAN (12) was well in commission last start over 1200m at this track when fourth, beaten 2.25 lengths. Tricky draw and hasn't won for a long while but appeals as the one they have to beat. INDIGO AZUL (14) finished third at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 1200m at this track, finishing 4.5 lengths back in eighth. Finds a nice race and can make amends. SUNRISE BREAK (13) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 1200m at Chukyo Dirt. Best form measures up favourably so can turn things around. HOWLING WIND (6) is racing well including a last start sixth over 1400m at Chukyo Dirt. Cherry ripe and should be highly competitive.
