Bartime has good early speed and can set a decent tempo. JUST SAINT JAMES (1) was just fair on resumption when jumping a $6 chance in a much tougher race first-up. He draws out, but he tends to get back in the run anyway and he'll appreciate the easier company today. Cooper's claim comes in handy and he can bounce back to winning ways. RISE TO GLORY (6) settled out the back but finished off strongly to finish 0.2L off the winner over 1100m at this track most recently. It's been a while between wins, though his recent efforts suggest he's on the cusp of another victory. Watch for him flying home late in the race. BARTIME (2) resumes today on the back of an impressive trial win at Lark Hill most recently. He ended last campaign in disappointing fashion, but was too strong from the front two runs ago. Fiore riding is a good push for his chances. SHOW THE WAY (8) won't be far away if he runs up to recent efforts. RAINLINE (4) can resume on a positive note with Nottle's 2kg claim coming in handy. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just Saint James gets the nod in the opener.
