Plenty of pressure with Kurino Kingman, Mole Poblano and Stellar Splendour leading the charge. MOLE POBLANO (2) is back at the races for the first time since January 31. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1700m at this track. Has ability and should be right in the finish. LA MANCHE (13) is a promising galloper who won at his last run before a break 12 weeks ago over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Arata Saito sticks. Should be hard to stop. MEISHO KASHIWADE (8) stuck on well when resuming last start to finish second over 1800m at Nakayama Dirt after showing good early speed. Must raise the bar but a win is not out of the question. LIFE GATE (10) turned in another moderate effort last start when 4.5 lengths from the winner in fifth over 1700m at Kokura Dirt. Yuji Tannai gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. No surprise to see him in contention.
