Hasn't won for a while and the freshen up might do the world of good. Leading contender. MEISHO COUGAR (2) finished sixth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt at his most recent appearance on December 21. Will be better next time but in a moderate race he should take some beating. WATER PARADIS (11) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1700m at Kokura Dirt, finishing second and beaten 1.75 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Can keep that momentum going. YOUNG AMERICANS (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
