Expecting Now Is The Hour to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sharp trip.
BUNDELLA (10) made it three straight wins, with today's rider Chelsea Baker steering, when he dug deep to score over this distance at Doomben last start. The ratings keep rising with each success which is a great sign. Hard to go past with just 54.5kgs after the claim. CHALICE WELL (15) appreciated the drop in class when she bolted in last time out over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Goes extra well for Tiffani Brooker who retains the mount. Confidence back and another big run looks likely. ZONDEE (12) was third to Bundella over this distance two back then struggled at 1350m last time. Can bounce back in this more favourable assignment. COSMO CENTAURUS (14) closed well but just missed the placings when fresh from a spell over 1000m at this track recently. Fitter and will enjoy the extra 200m. SOOTHSAYER (5) resumes. Opened last prep with a barnstorming third in the Group 3 Gold Coast Guineas over this trip. Big chance if he recaptures that form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bundella to win again.
