RIPOSANTE (10) finished 1.75 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 2000m at Chukyo, an improvement on her first-up sixth at Tokyo the run before. Nicely placed to get the prize. ILLUSTRE (7) returns from the paddock. Was less than a length from the winner in third on debut before breaking through for a strong win over 2400m at Tokyo last start. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again. BENE SPIRA (9) had his first look at a turf track last start when second-up from a spell and improved nicely to finish second, beaten 2 lengths, over 2000m at this track. Will take a lot from that last run. SUNRISE BUBBLE (8) was below his best last time when seventh over 2200m at Chukyo, beaten 4 lengths. Likely improver with genuine prospects.
