Looks a keen contest with Youre Not The King and Statement Of Truth pressing for the lead with Spanish Treasure and Wootten Hyde close at hand.
Progressive three-year-old FABULANTES (2) has been most impressive in winning his last three against his own age group, the latest a last-to-first victory over today's rival Call Da Vinci over 1200m. Won a trial at Doomben since that success. Certainly up to this tougher assignment. SPANISH TREASURE (6) made late ground but just failed to pick up The Wheelbarrow when resuming over 1200m at this circuit a fortnight ago. Finished third in the 1400m Listed Magic Millions Guineas in January. Has the class to play a key role. CALL DA VINCI (4) met with strong support but found Fabulantes too good when they clashed at the Gold Coast five weeks ago. At his best over 1400m so this looks a nice race. AERODROME (3) won the Canberra Guineas over this trip two back then found the 1600m Carbine Club at Randwick out of reach. Can make amends. BRAVE MONARCH (8) caught the eye first-up and over an extra 200m poses a serious threat. SUGGESTED PLAY: Fabulantes to win again.
