Expecting plenty of speed from Synchro, Justa Star and Wichitall from Piwhane. NICISH (8) will relish the anticipated tempo and looks ready to launch fourth up. Expect Opperman to have her blending in smoothly at the top of the straight before swooping late. SYNCHRO (9) was far from disgraced under the big weight fresh and has kept the legs ticking over with a trial. He now steps out to a favoured course and distance. Just needs a slice of luck from the wide alley. JILLADORA (4) has turned things around in her past two, scoring at long odds then just missing again at a price. She’s peaking now and deserves far more respect from the market. INEXORABLE (1) drops back in trip off 27 days and brings Victorian peaks that measure up. He does have to lump the big weight but remains a legitimate hope. IMAMANZOR (13) didn’t give them a sniff at Oakbank when leading throughout and you’d expect similar tactics here. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nicish to win.
