Taken to the front from the inside draw with a close-up second over 1200m at Warren. Great chance to go one better from the low gate. GETTIN' TIPSY (11) covered a stack of ground in the run with a tiring ninth over 1200m at Cowra. Kept fresh and assess on earlier runs from the good gate. THE GIT UP (8) goes well here and ready for the 1200m now. Caught the eye with a solid sixth over 900m at Wellington. On the quick back-up and expected to go close. DUSTY VERMEER (2) is experiencing a long win drought. Chipped away late from the outside draw with a plugging seventh over 1400m at Wellington. Lone victory came at this track and stays in the calculations. MY KIND OF GIRL (7) resumes. Back without a trial and look for her closing late. SUGGESTED PLAY: My Crown looks due for a change of luck.
