Unflinching and Liquor can be prominent. Very good race. UNFLINCHING (11) led and looked home at any old odds only for the stablemate to knock him off on the line in the Bob Hoysted down the straight five at Flemington last start. Has the gate speed to negate a wide draw and will give them something to catch with the light weight. BATTLEFIELD (12) made a sustained run to get up for second last time out in a good race over 1200m at Toowoomba. Not suited at this trip but with a stack of pace up front and a long run home he might be the one finishing over the top. GOLDEN BOOM (6) last appeared when fourth in Liquor's Goldmarket at the Gold Coast in January. Hasn't won for a while but he is a four-time winner at this level and goes well when fresh. UNCOMMON JAMES (1) is an Oakleigh Plate winner back from a 13-month lay-off. Class act who could blow these away if fit. Keep an eye on the betting. HIDDEN WEALTH (2) is a gun fresh performer worth considering first-up from a three-month spell. SUGGESTED PLAY: Unflinching each-way.
