POWER AND WAR (7) has been just behind the placegetters in both career outings to date and looks to be working up to a maiden victory. Maps ideally for this from gate four and has the talent to take care of this line-up. The well-related MEASURE OF TIME (6) (half to G1 winner Levendi) is a former Victorian having his first run for the new stable but has revved up for this with a recent trial win and should be kept very safe. THE BATAVIA (9) is facing the starter for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and is sure to be well-educated out of the Gollan yard. Any market confidence must be noted. MAGIC INVADER (5) has been thereabouts in all four runs this preparation and is a must for the exotics players. ENGLISH CONQUEROR (2) best of the rest while fresh.
