Cork Harbour and I Catchem Fox have the pace to vie for the lead from their wide draws. ACAPPELLA MOON (12) hasn’t done much wrong of late and finds another suitable race. The drop back to this trip looks a positive and she draws far kinder. Hold her form and she’ll be fighting out the finish. TOSEN WATER (4) rattled home fresh when just missing, then went better than it reads last start when midfield. Back to a sprinting trip third up and ready to fire. METRICAL (3) resumes and is a noted fresh performer. He boasts a strong record over this course and distance and reunites with Holder from a good draw. Hard to ignore. EMPIRE OF PAIN (13) also resumes and while this is short of her preferred trip, she has enough early speed to offset the wide draw and give a bold sight. Three hitouts have her forward enough. CLARENCE (9) is knocking on the door and has a sharp turn of foot when things fall his way. From the inside draw he can land closer and just needs the gap to appear. I AM VELVET (6) never looked likely fresh but can improve with that run under her belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Acappella Moon each-way.
