Not much early pace and doubt they will go hard. HEDRIVESMECRAZY (7) was beaten just a nose last start when third in a small field over 1100m at this track. Will be fitter for that run, expect a strong run. SICILY (4) progressed nicely last start to finish a close third over 1000m at Durbanville after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. AFRICAN WILD DOG (5) raced once in the maiden preparation when tenth at this track over 1000m back on January 10. That was in far tougher grade and expected to improve sharply this level. GIMMEAGAMBLE (1) is a two-year-old gelding on debut from the stable of Piet Botha.
