GOING: S(5)

GREENWAY TURF SOLUTIONS CG&E MAIDEN PLATE 1500m

Track: Soft 5   Clear (Max: 18)   Rail: True.

Cellphone is the probable leader in the small field. EYNESBURY (7) didn't have the best of it at Rosehill 12-days ago but brought threatening metro form to that. Suited in this and should relish the step up in trip. He looks the best of the Waller contingent and finds his race. Stablemate CELLPHONE (5) was well supported on debut beaten 1.6L over 1300m at Wyong. Trialled well into that and the extra 300m shouldn't be an issue with the extra fitness. Has to be considered. The local CRUDO (6) resumed here over 1400m and needed the outing. He's showing some promise and can get into the money today. ALL STAR (4) showed more like his best finishing 1.7L from the winner over 1600m at Hawkesbury. Has a 1.5kg claim and an inside gate today and we know he'll run it right out. THE VICTORIOUS (8) resumes for Waller and hasn't been asked a lot in two trials. Likely to need the outing but it wouldn't totally surprise if he raced well. SUGGESTED PLAY: Eynesbury will take beating.
