Expecting a strong tempo with Kirkliston Blu, Burning Bright and Oxford Blue going forward ahead of Sir Kingsford and Test The Law. OXFORD BLUE (5) was strong behind Cash two back, then only just missed at Oakbank when rising in trip. He’s peaking now and looks the one to beat. TEST THE LAW (2) has done more than enough in his two runs back and should be ready to put it all together third up out to a winning trip. Opperman sticks and will give him every chance. EL JAMES (8) had excuses last start when beaten a long way here, but his prior form stacks up and he’s unbeaten at this trip. A quick freshen can straighten him out. ROYAL MILE (6) disappointed last time in open company but was superb in his previous two when recapturing his best. Worth another look. DARKNCONFIDENTIAL (3) has mixed his form this prep but his peaks measure right up. Don't underestimate. SUGGESTED PLAY: Oxford Blue to win.
